Stanford has requested a temporary restraining order from a Superior Court judge to block implementation of the NCAA’s drug-testing program, the university’s attorney said Thursday.
Debra L. Zumwalt said the university took the action because “we are concerned the NCAA program may be illegal.”
The university will get an Aug. 21 hearing on the matter in Santa Clara County Superior Court.
