Chicago Bear quarterback Steve Fuller has decided to undergo shoulder surgery and is expected to miss the upcoming NFL season.
Fuller tore loose scar tissue in his right shoulder while lifting weights July 27 at the Bears’ Lake Forest, Ill., practice site. He had separated the shoulder twice in 1984.
