The FBI confirmed that it is investigating West-Cap Arizona, a subsidiary of SFE Technologies of San Fernando, for “quality control related to contracts on defense items” since 1980. Investigators in Tucson, where West-Cap is based, said they seized 30 boxes of records June 30. SFE, which makes components regulating electrical impulses in telecommunications and defense equipment, said it is cooperating with investigators.
