Quake Shakes the Aleutians

WASHINGTON —
A moderate earthquake shook the Fox Islands in the Aleutian chain off the coast of Alaska this morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The agency’s Earthquake Information Center in Golden, Colo., measured the quake at 5.3 on the Richter Scale, officials said.
They said that it was not felt in any inhabited area and caused no reported damage.
