A trove of 191 Civil War documents that included papers signed by Abraham Lincoln was found in a safety deposit box in Washington rented under an alias by Charles Merrill Mount, a scholar arrested last week in Boston while allegedly trying to sell documents stolen from the National Archives, the FBI said. On Friday, more than 162 Civil War documents believed to be government property were found in two other safety deposit boxes Mount, 59, had rented, according to U.S. District Court papers.
