A $200,000 donation by Richard Riordan, a partner in the Los Angeles law firm of Riordan & McKinzie, has helped UCLA establish a program to familiarize minority high school and college students with career opportunities in management.

The program started in February at the John Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA, according to director Linda Baldwin. Two more aspects of the program--a national college recruitment drive and a corporate sponsorship program--are under development, she said.

The program involves 60 participants from 14 Los Angeles high schools.
