BOWERS MUSEUM HIRES 2 AIDES

Bowers Museum in Santa Ana has announced the hiring of two new administrators: J. Barney Malesky as curator of education and Gerald Werby as business manager.

Malesky served three years on the education staff at the Dallas Museum of Art, in addition to supervising the recruiting and training of museum volunteers there.

Malesky holds master’s degrees in museum education from Southern Methodist University and in art history from North Texas State University.

Werby has worked several years as a controller and financial manager in the private sector. Most recently, he was controller for Standard Brands Paint Co. in Torrance. He is a business administration graduate of the University of Missouri.
