Members of a Protestant paramilitary group killed a Catholic taxi driver as his screaming wife and three young children looked on, Ulster police said. Michael Power, 31, had stopped at a Belfast intersection on his way to church when a gunman jumped from another car and shot him twice in the head, a police spokeswoman said. He died a few hours later in the hospital. The Ulster Freedom Fighters, a shadowy Protestant paramilitary group, claimed responsibility for the slaying, the 63rd so far this year in British-ruled Northern Ireland.
