Rocker Partners, a New York investment firm, has disclosed in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that it owns 268,900 common shares, or a 5.5% stake, in Beeba’s Creations Inc., the San Diego-based contract clothing manufacturer. The group said in the filing that it bought the stock for investment purposes, paying between $12.75 and $17.125 per share between June 11 and Aug. 7.
