Countywide : Ninburg Will Head Human Relations Panel
Dr. Daniel H. Ninburg has been elected chairman of the Orange County Human Relations Commission
Ninburg, who has had a family and occupational medicine practice in Anaheim since 1960, has been chief of staff at Anaheim General Hospital and medical director of Canyon General Hospital.

A story in The Times on Tuesday incorrectly listed the credentials of Dr. Daniel H. Ninburg, newly elected chairman of the Orange County Human Relations Commission. Ninburg is a past president of the Orange County Jewish Federation and a member of the Anaheim Chamber of Commerce. He also is president of the Jewish Community Center of Central Orange County.
His civic work has included serving as president of the Orange County Jewish Chamber of Commerce, and he has served on the boards of the Anaheim YMCA, the National Conference of Christians and Jews, Tel Aviv University, the Council of Jewish Federations and AIDS Walk Orange County.
As a member of the Human Relations commission for the last two years, Ninburg has been active on issues affecting homeless people, pre-natal care for low-income women, parent training, Latino school dropouts and immigration.
