Carly Simon’s “Coming Around Again” continues its drive to the Top 10, climbing at a rate of about 10 notches a week. It’s No. 29 on the Billboard pop album chart. The Fat Boys’ “Crushin’ (now at No. 12) should be in the Top 10 next week. Los Lobos’ cover version of “La Bamba” is still the No. 1 single. Michael Jackson’s single “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” jumped from No. 6 to No. 2. Huey Lewis has another Top 10 single with “Doing It All for My Baby” (No. 10). The Cars’ new single, “You Are the Girl” (No. 49), looks to be another big hit.

* On the chart for nearly a year, the million-selling “Final Countdown” pop-rock album by the Swedish band Europe, has been surging again. It jumped six places to No. 17 and appears headed back into the Top 10. Another hot single, “Carrie” (No. 21), is the reason for the resurgence.
