Democracy in Central America
It is disheartening to me that The Times, along with millions of other Americans, see the primary issue of the day (in Nicaragua and the world) as war or peace. Peace is easily obtained--just surrender to the forces of evil, do as we’re told and peace abounds! Shouldn’t our primary emphasis be on liberty?
