NEW PRIME-TIME EXECUTIVE AT NBC

NBC-TV executive Warren Littlefield was promoted Monday to a job that leaves him second only to entertainment division president Brandon Tartikoff in responsibility for the network’s prime-time program schedule.
Littlefield, who joined the NBC programming department in 1979, was named executive vice president of prime-time programs. Previously he had been senior vice president for series, specials and variety programs. He continues to oversee those areas and now also will supervise NBC’s movies and miniseries.
