Lee Seidler, a widely quoted author of books on accounting and taxes, has joined the board of directors of Players International in Calabasas. Seidler, 52, also is a managing director of the New York brokerage of Bear, Stearns & Co.

Players operates a nationwide club for casino visitors and a travel agency.

Also joining the board is Stanley Fishman, 55, chief executive officer of Marketing Innovations International in Calabasas. Marketing Innovations is a company that deals in incentive gifts, those free gifts that come with solicitations such as magazine subscriptions.
