Former Pierce College quarterbacks Babe Laufenberg and Erik Kramer were cut Monday by their respective NFL teams.

Laufenberg, who formerly played for the San Diego Chargers and the Washington Redskins, was released by the Kansas City Chiefs. He attended Crespi High, where he was a high school All-American and All-Southern Section as a senior in 1977.

Kramer, who played at Burroughs of Burbank, was cut by the New Orleans Saints after signing with the team as a free agent. He was the Atlantic Coast Conference player of the year last season at North Carolina State.
