Former Texas Gov. John B. Connally has personal liabilities of $93 million and assets of $13 million, according to papers filed in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Austin, Tex. The liabilities and assets figures are outlined in a 207-page financial statement that was filed with the court. Connally, who served as Treasury secretary in the Nixon Administration and secretary of the Navy in the Kennedy Administration, sought protection of his personal assets by filing under Chapter 13 of the Bankruptcy Code on July 31.
