Dennis Hogan has been appointed to the new position of corporate controller and chief accounting officer at ABI American Businessphones Inc., an Irvine-based telephone sales and service company.

He joins ABI from AirCal, where he spent six years, most recently as director of financial planning and analysis. He has also worked as senior financial analyst with Flying Tiger Line and as an economist with the Army Corps of Engineers.
