How Best to See the Pope on His Trip to Los Angeles

KTLA, Channel 5 will provide live continuous coverage of the papal visit to Los Angeles. Channels 2, 4, 7, 11, 34 and 52 will broadcast selected events live.
People can view the Pope’s 7.2- mile motorcade through Los Angeles on Tuesday. The motorcade is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at St. Vibiana’s Cathedral at 11:15 a.m. The route is on Page 3.
Admission to Masses at the Memorial Coliseum on Tuesday
and Dodger Stadium on Wednesday are by ticket only. Tickets have already been distributed through local parishes. If you don’t have a ticket, don’t come to the stadium.
The Pope’s other activities in Los Angeles are by invitation only and are closed to the public.
The area around St. Vibiana’s Cathedral will be sealed off by the Secret Service and his entrances and exits will be by closed limousine.
