NOW to Honor Nine in Media for Publicizing Feminist Ideas

The National Organization for Women will honor nine media personalities for “bringing feminist ideas before the public” when the Los Angeles NOW Education Fund has its annual Courage Awards dinner Sept. 27 at the Beverly Hilton.

Recipients will be: Sylvia Chase, Valerie Coleman, Linda Ellerbee, Charlyne Hunter-Gault, Sheilah Kast, Bill Press, Marlene Sanders, Carole Simpson and Kathleen Sullivan.
