Rescue teams searching for the two American crewmen of an A-6E Intruder attack bomber that crashed in the Arabian Sea during a routine training flight found only the helmets of the pilot, Lt. Cmdr. Dennis J. Seipel of Gilbert, Ariz., and the bombardier, Lt. Stephen J. Healy of Newcastle, Del., a U.S. official in Manama, Bahrain, said. The jet was returning to the U.S. aircraft carrier Ranger when it crashed, but there was no indication it was hit by hostile fire, sources said. The bomber was assigned to the Ranger as part of the U.S. military contingent protecting Kuwaiti shipping in the Persian Gulf.
