Super Bowl, Baseball on Sunday TV Bill
Faced with cancellation of games National Football League games Sunday, CBS will replay Super Bowl XXI between the New York Giants and Denver Broncos. CBS also plans an expanded version of the NFL Today beginning at 9:30 p.m. PDT.
NBC will televise the St. Louis Cardinals-Chicago Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays-Detroit Tigers baseball games after a one-hour “NFL Live” show. NBC arranged a deal to show the Sunday games this week only. ABC has the rights to the final Sunday of baseball next week.
ABC said it will show the movie “Star Trek III: The Search for Spock,” if the Denver Broncos and Cleveland Brown don’t play Monday night.
