Carson : Leaks in City Hall Plugged
Carson’s project to stop leaks in the basement of City Hall has been completed.
The leaks began shortly after the building was completed in 1976, but worsened in recent years. After heavy rains, about 300 gallons a day would seep through the basement wall of the computer room, forcing employees to mop about once an hour.
The city selected Harris Co. of San Clemente to install a drainage system for $59,833.
