Norwalk : Planning Commissioner
Bernard Gallie, a construction inspector for the Los Angeles Public Works Department, has been appointed to the Norwalk Planning Commission by the City Council. Nominated by Councilwoman Grace Napolitano, Gallie replaces Chuck Fuentes, who resigned to devote more time to his job with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
Gallie, 53, has been a member of the city’s Blue Ribbon Committee, an advisory panel to the council. Several years ago he served on the local cable television advisory board. Gallie said he likes Norwalk “the way it is” and wants to keep it a city of primarily single-family homes.
