Talks Stall; NFL Calls Off 14 Games
The National Football League called off 14 games scheduled for Sunday and Monday as talks in the three-day NFL strike stalled.
Commissioner Pete Rozelle said he is unsure if those games will be made up or played later. The league plans to resume play Oct. 4, using non-union players.
