Chapman Beats Metropolitan St.

Scott McCrimmon scored the game-winning goal with 44 seconds remaining to lead Chapman College to a 2-1 victory over Metropolitan State, of Denver, in a men’s nonconference soccer match at Orange.
McCrimmon, a former standout at Corona del Mar High School, scored the winning goal on a penalty kick and provided an assist on the Panther’s first goal by Todd Hughes early in the second half.
Goalkeeper Mark Dudzinski had six saves for Chapman (5-2).
Joe Okoh scored at 34:19 for Metropolitan State (4-4), and teammate Doug Lazack helped with four saves.
