Kathleen A. Warwick, regional administrator of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s New York office, has resigned following reports of friction with her staff over her tabling of an insider trading investigation growing out of the so-called Yuppie Five case.
A team of senior SEC officials from Washington had been conducting a review of the New York office.
