A woman who allegedly bit the arms of a San Diego police officer and then hit the officer in the head with a rock was arrested Wednesday and booked at the Las Colinas County Jail for women in Santee.

Officer Debbie Train was on patrol in the 4000 block of Highland Avenue in Southeast San Diego when she reportedly witnessed a drug deal taking place. Two people fled the scene when the officer arrived.

Train chased Sharon Ann Fauth, 39, and attempted to arrest her. Officers said Fauth bit the officer on both arms, breaking the skin on her right arm, then hit her in the head with a rock.
