New Yorkers won’t be the only TV viewers who can tune into to Regis Philbin’s and Kathie Lee Gifford’s highly rated daytime talk show. WABC-TV, which produces “The Morning Show,” has agreed to let Buena Vista Television, a Walt Disney Co. subsidiary, distribute the weekday program via satellite from the station’s New York studios early next year. The syndication deal also requires the Lifetime Cable Network to produce no new episodes of “Regis Philbin’s Life Styles” show.
