More Freeways, More Pollution
I have tolerated (because I have no choice) the deplorable freeway traffic congestion that has resulted in today’s extensive parking lots in Orange County. It pleases me greatly that a responsible citizens group (the Orange County Grand Jury) should take the Board of Supervisors to task over its (mis-)management of the freeway planning. The supervisors seem to respond with the suggestion that their toll road plans (in south Orange County) will take care of the situation.
Obviously these closed-minded supervisors have not been on either the 91 Freeway through Fullerton or the 57 Freeway from the Orange County line to Santa Ana or on Interstate 5 in Santa Ana. No way does the toll road plan offer any hope for relief for us north Orange County folks.
I would like to see some very positive action taken in implementing more freeway lanes in the north county region.
