Boeing Co. said it has won an order for 27 aircraft valued at $850 million from Ansett Transport Industries of Sydney, Australia. Ansett ordered 16 Boeing 737-300s, five 737-500s and six 757-200s. Ansett is an airline and aircraft leasing concern partly owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. The company currently maintains a 38-plane fleet.
