The Western Law Center for the Handicapped at Loyola Law School has received a $50,000 grant from the U. S. Department of Education, announced professor Mary-Lynne Fisher.

It’s the second consecutive year that the center has received funds from the department. Last year’s grant was $40,000.

The nonprofit public interest law center, which opened on campus in 1983, provides legal assistance to the disabled.
