OBeeba’s Creations Income Up by 80%

OBeeba’s Creations Inc. reported fourth-quarter net income of $1.35 million, an 80% increase over the $753,286 reported for the same period last year. Net sales for the quarter ended Aug. 31 were $34.9 million, up 20% from the $29 million reported a year ago.

For the full year, the firm reported net income of $4.1 million on sales of $107.6 million, up from the net income of $3.2 million on sales of $94 million posted for fiscal 1986.

The company’s board of directors also declared its first quarterly dividend of 3 cents per share to be paid Dec. 31 to shareholders of record as of Dec. 1.
