USIU’s Wall Wins Texas Golf Tournament

Jim Wall of United States International University shot a 2-under-par 142 to win the Texas Invitational golf tournament Tuesday at the 7,025-yard, par-72 Riverside Golf Club in Austin, Tex.

Wall, a senior from Madison, Wis., had a 72 in the first round Monday and 70 in the second Tuesday. The USIU team finished seventh of 20 teams with a score of 623. Texas Wesleyan was first with 606.
