Micro D Gets Distribution Rights to Macintosh Database Program

Micro D Inc., a Santa Ana computer products distributor, and Nashoba Systems Inc., a Foster City software company, have signed a six-month agreement that gives Micro D exclusive retail distribution rights to Nashoba’s FileMaker Plus business software.

FileMaker Plus is a popular database program for Apple Computer’s Macintosh personal computer.

Micro D President Harold Clark said in a prepared statement that Filemaker Plus “is a critical software product for Micro D’s strategic plans to increase market penetration and expand market share of the burgeoning Macintosh business market.”

On Tuesday, Micro D announced the formation of a new division to focus exclusively on marketing products for the Macintosh and other Apple computers.
