Carload is Winner in Santa Anita Feature
Heavily favored Carload scored a 2 1/2-length victory in the $45,000 feature race at Santa Anita’s Oak Tree meeting Friday before a crowd of 17,460.
Bid Us finished second, a half-length in front of Donner Party, in the five-horse field.
Carload ran six furlongs in 1:08 4/5, equaling the fastest time of the meet, and paid $3.60 to win.
