When Vanna White speaks, listen carefully. The “Wheel of Fortune” attraction was one of the celebrities interviewed about personal investments in “The Wall Street Journal Report.” Although the stock market went into a horrendous nose dive last week, White said, “I think the stock market’s going up. I really do.” She added that she handles her money personally, rather than trusting a business manager, and invests it in real estate: “I work hard for my money. I know where every dime of it goes. I’m not that rich yet, but I’m slowly building up, and I might get an apartment building (in Los Angeles). I know a lot of people in business have managers that control their money, but I disagree with that. I’m sorry, I work too hard for my money for somebody else to spend it.”
