The swearing-in ceremony for William S. Sessions, recovering from a digestive tract ailment that twice postponed his swearing-in as director of the FBI, has been scheduled for Nov. 2, Sessions said. The 57-year-old chief federal judge for the Western District of Texas, based in San Antonio, was hospitalized twice for a mild abrasion of the digestive tract described by some physicians as the beginning of an ulcer. Sessions was first hospitalized Sept. 30 after collapsing on a plane en route to an Oct. 1 swearing-in ceremony in Washington.
