Woman Sues Madonna, Stadium
A West Hollywood woman has filed suit against the singer Madonna and Anaheim, alleging that she suffered a miscarriage from injuries inflicted during a rush toward the stage at Anaheim Stadium where the singer was performing.
Heylee Winters alleged that she suffered neck and back injuries when she was pushed and thrown to the ground in the July 18 incident. She asserted that Madonna caused the crowd to surge toward the stage by encouraging the audience to ignore the security guards and “come down here to me.”
The suit, which also alleges that the city failed to provide adequate security, was filed in Orange County Superior Court. It asked for unspecified damages.
