No Free Lunch
Regarding San Diego City Manager John Lockwood’s statement (“Taxpayer Tab Adds Up as City Officials Do Lunch,” Oct. 18) “ . . . if you’re going to ask them (city officials) to work through their lunch hours, and to ask them to have their wife or spouse or significant other pack a lunch, then that’s too much, I think.”
He is absolutely right. Why can’t they pack their own lunches?
