‘Let George Do It’

Now it seems you are coming up short in endorsing Wes Pratt (“Strong Slate for City Voters,” Oct. 18). Both men in this race have my respect; however, the Rev. George Stevens is not a bureaucrat. If one looks at the two candidates’ sample ballot, the answer is obvious. Insofar as executive ability, please look at George’s biographical rundown in the sample ballot recently mailed to the voters in the City of San Diego. Endorsement of neither would have been better. As for me, “Let George do it.”
