In regard to Kim Murphy’s comprehensive and accurate article, it is important to note that in addition to the Hollywood Ten, 36 individuals from all walks of life and work invoked the First Amendment when called before inquisitorial committees of government. Of these, 19 served time. Carl Braden and I were the last to serve prison sentences.
