Dimitri Bilozerchev, who has recovered from injuries suffered in a serious auto accident 18 months ago, led a Soviet sweep of the top three places in the men’s individual all-round event at the World Gymnastics Championships in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Bilozerchev, the 1983 world champion, finished with 118.375 points, just ahead of Yuri Korolev, the world champion in 1981 and 1985, who had 118.350. Vladimir Artemov finished with 118.125.

Aurelia Dobre of Romania won the women’s individual title, holding off the challenge of defending champion Elena Shushonova of the Soviet Union. Dobre had 79.650 points to 79.487 for Shushonova.
