Michael Broome, San Diego State’s junior reserve wide receiver, sustained a concussion in the first quarter of a 52-42 victory against Cal State Long Beach Saturday night.

He was released Sunday after being hospitalized overnight for observation but should be available to play at Hawaii Saturday, said John Rosenthal, sports information director. Mike Hooper, senior defensive end, reinjured the big toe on his right foot and is questionable, Rosenthal said.
