St. Ives Laboratories named Mac Allen Culver...

St. Ives Laboratories named Mac Allen Culver III president to succeed Robert A. Neher, who asked to be reassigned for health reasons. Neher, 38, remains a director of St. Ives, a Chatsworth-based maker of shampoos and other personal-care products.

Culver, 45, also is a St. Ives director. He formerly held top management posts at Pay ‘N Save, a Seattle-based drugstore chain, and Gray Drug Fair, a unit of Cleveland-based Sherwin-Williams.
