Shabby L.A.
I agree wholeheartedly with G. Clausen’s letter of Oct. 27, what has happened to our City of the Angels? My sister and mother were out here from Britain visiting last Christmas and they wanted to go to see world-famous Sunset Boulevard.
What a big disappointment to all of us to see how shabby, dirty and neglected it looked. We didn’t even bother getting out of our car. One would think that in the movie capital of the world and one of the richest cities, officials would do something to bring a world-famous landmark up to standard.
