Local News in Brief : Fountain Valley : Robber Walks Away With Bank’s Cash

A man walked into a California Federal bank office Friday afternoon, gave a teller a note demanding money and escaped with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
Fountain Valley Police Lt. Mike Hanrahan said the man entered the bank at 5:45 p.m. The note he gave the teller said he had a gun, but witnesses did not see one.
The robber, described as being about 35, was wearing blue jeans and a blue baseball cap, Hanrahan said.
