. . . We announced that producers Pat and Bill Finnegan had acquired dramatic rights from Jessica Hahn for a CBS movie about the Jim and Tammy Bakker saga. But Hahn’s lawyer, Dominic Barbara, now tells us, “I’ve never dealt with the Finnegans, nor do I know who they are. Jessica Hahn owns the rights to her own story.” He added that he’s still fielding inquiries from producers. Bill Finnegan had not returned our calls but free-lance journalist Art Harris, who’s covered the scandal and has a TV deal with Finnegan, said the deal does not include Hahn’s rights and that Finnegan feels he was misunderstood by our reporter.
