Share

Tenants at Anaheim’s Stadium Towers Plaza can watch the Angels play baseball or the passing parade on the Orange (57) Freeway.

Work has begun on the $120-million project, a development of Hillman Properties, Newport Beach. It is located at Katella and Howell avenues on the site of the former Malibu Grand Prix Raceway, adjacent to the Anaheim Stadium parking lot and the Amtrak station.

The project will contain two matching 12-story office towers of 240,000 square feet each. The first tower is scheduled for completion in June. Phase 2 will consist of the second tower and a five-story garage for 1,600 cars.

A waterscaped plaza between the two buildings will connect with a retail and restaurant complex being planned by Business Properties Development Co., Irvine.

San Francisco-based Dinwiddie Construction is general contractor and the Nadel Partnership Inc., Costa Mesa, architect. Fong & Associates, Costa Mesa, is the architectural landscaper.
