Got Breckenridge Lore

The Travel Section is one of my favorite parts of the L.A. Times. Michael Carlton’s Oct. 25 story, “Breckenridge: Gold Mine for Tourists,” was very, very interesting. Although I have visited Breckenridge numerous times, I learned much from his historical research. Also, his “best restaurant” list is on target, although my favorite, the Brown Hotel, was listed second. He made up for that, however, by listing the Brown Hotel bar as the spot for a quiet drink. Good reporting is appreciated. I’ll watch for more of Carlton’s columns.
