Simpson’s in the Strand is one of my favorite London restaurants. I have been there on more than one occasion, and never have I ever experienced or observed anything that even remotely resembles one or more of the three categories which comprise the adverse comments made by Lasley and Harryman in pursuit of their critique of Simpson’s in “The Best of Traditional British Fare,” Oct. 18. You may be sure that the next time I go to London I fully intend to return to Simpson’s in the Strand.
